Rigid Inflatable Boats
Zodiac introduced the first commercial RIB through its subsidiary Avon at the London Boat Show in 1971.
Today Zodiac offers a wide range of semi-rigid boats from 4 to 12 meters. Hulls are made of aluminum or glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), or carbon-reinforced plastic.
Zodiac has developed various collar configurations from conventional inflatable tubes to foam filled tubes and D shape to fit on the different hulls designs.
Inflatable collars are manufactured from heavy duty Neoprene / CSM, Polyurethane coated fabrics or can be fitted with Zodiac’s Durarib™ foam systems. Zodiac proposes different propulsion options: single, twin or triple outboard motors, or single or twin inboard diesel with water jet, stern drive or surface drives.
